About
The Dallas Chapter Of The Gospel Music Workshop Of America
The Gospel Music Workshop of America was founded in 1967 by the legendary Rev. James Cleveland to nurture, develop, and preserve gospel music through education, fellowship, and praise.
The Dallas Chapter was reorganized in 1995 and has since grown into one of the most vibrant chapters in the organization. Currently led by Samuel Britt as Chapter Representative, the chapter continues its mission of promoting gospel music throughout the Dallas area by bringing together musicians, local churches, community choirs, and ensembles into one unified ministry.
More than an award-winning community choir, the Dallas Chapter is a welcoming place where individuals can learn, grow, and minister through gospel music while making a lasting impact on the Kingdom.
